Help & support
Short answers to the questions new companies ask most.

Getting started
How do I invite my team?
Open Team & permissions. Create a role first (for example, Salesperson), choose what that role can see and change, then invite people by email and assign the role. Each person signs in with their own account.
Can I limit what each person sees?
Yes. Roles control which records a person sees (their own, their team's, or all), whether they see prices and costs, revenue totals, win rate, profit, customer contact details and the jobs map. Review each role before you invite someone.
Bringing your data over
How do I import from another app or QuickBooks?
Export a CSV from the old app, open Migration, choose Customers, Estimates or Invoices, and upload the file. Columns are matched automatically and you can change any match. Review the list and the problems, then press Import. Start with Customers, then import documents.
What does an import bring over?
Customers: name, email, phone and addresses. Documents: number, customer, total, date, and optional job details. Original line items, attachments, payments and signatures are not imported. Imported estimates stay as Drafts so you can review them. Existing numbers are never overwritten.
Why were some rows left out?
The review screen lists each row with a problem and why (for example, an unreadable date or total) and rows that already exist. Fix the file and import again, or import the good rows now. Skipped duplicates are never changed.
Estimates, invoices and payments
How do I get a PDF?
Open the estimate or invoice and use Print, then choose Save as PDF. In the iPhone and Mac apps, use the share or export button. Customers can also view and respond to a sent estimate on its secure page.
Can customers pay by card?
Yes, once your company administrator connects a payment account under Billing. Card payments go to your own connected account. Until it is connected, you can still record payments received by check, cash or transfer.
What do the invoice statuses mean?
Unpaid means nothing has been received. Partially paid means some payment is recorded. Overdue means the due date has passed with a balance. Paid means the balance is zero.
Working without a connection
What happens if I lose signal on a job site?
The iPhone and Mac apps keep working and send your changes when the connection returns. The web app shows a red bar while you are offline and will not save until you reconnect, so nothing is silently lost.
Account and security
I forgot my password.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. If you no longer have access to that email, ask your company administrator. Administrators can set a trusted recovery email in the iPhone or Mac app under Administration. Support staff cannot see your password or your company's data.
I forgot my device lock password.
The device lock is stored only on your device and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. This protects your data if the device is lost.
How do I export or delete my company's data?
Contact support from the link above. We verify that the request comes from your company administrator before exporting or deleting anything.
